Making a Referral
Referring a Child or Family
As a pediatrician or family physician, social worker, daycare, or school counselor, you may be the first individual who becomes aware that a family could benefit from preventative or early intervention mental health services centered on the welfare of a baby, young child, school-aged child or adolescent.
Making the Referral
Inform the parents they
can call Rose Hill Counseling and Psychotherapy directly to make
an appointment (brochures are available to give to parents; call to have
some sent to your office). Some insurance plans require a referral from
a primary care physician. Therapists maintain contact with physicians
and case managers when appropriate.
Payment and Insurance
The
therapists at Rose Hill Therapy accept self-payment and many forms of
insurance. Please check with your therapist about specifics.
